SALES MANAGER FOR CITY RESTAURANT - £45,000

A great role in sales working in the city for a great venue and dealing with a vibrant clientele

THE ROLE:

With sole responsibility for driving sales via Event/Corporate and Private Bookings this sales role demands flexibility and creativity in order to maximise every sales opportunity and to provide the very best experience for potential clients.

As the point of liaison between customers and all marketing and bar operations, the role requires ownership, responsibility and a large degree of pro-activity on a day to day basis.

* Primary point of contact for those desiring an event/party/private/Corporate hire.
* Initiating and expanding contacts to impact on database enlargement - potential clients
* Coordinating closely with venue managers on all operational points
* Daily admin
* Writing sales proposals according to clients brief
* Producing relevant contracts & invoices
* Producing Function Sheet for Operations manager and Kitchen for daily reservations and events
* Working to targeted quantities of private and corporate hire, pre-booked and pre-ordered sales
* Creating and maximising opportunities and proposing Marketing initiatives to deliver on these targets
* Promoting the venue by organizing Annual Showcases (Summer & Christmas), and sponsored corporate evenings for our most loyal customers
* Monthly initiatives for targeted companies
* Producing weekly and monthly reports on numbers of bookings and sales -
* Liaising with the Marketing Manager on weekly/monthly e-mailings (content and timing), promotions to come and visuals (menus, flyers, posters and A boards)-
* Promoting the venue to targeted markets (venues finders, PR & Events Agencies, Events & Marketing Department of City Companies...) and organizing visits with potential new clients -
* Generic venue sales including sourcing new clients and developing existing business
* Website and social network site input and management

The Perfect Candidate:

Successful candidates must be well presented, outgoing and ambitious, with proven Sales experience in a similar role, forensic attention to detail, a pro-active approach to business development and a likeable, team-focused attitude
