Sales Manager - Glamorous Venue in Buzzing London - £40/45 + bonus

Salary £40/45,000 plus bonus

Location London

The focus of this role will be to maximise bookings through proactive and reactive sales processes and to increase the level of corporate and private hire business within the venue. You'll play an essential role in developing future growth within a passionate restaurant

The role of the Sales Manager

Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth

Daily/Weekly Financial Reporting and management of booking system

Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets

Being proactive in developing new contacts and clients within B2B and B2C markets (trade, concierge services, website listings etc), through cold calling, attending networking events, and 'getting out there'

Executing a range of private hire and media events. This includes initially meeting prospective clients, through to delivering the events in a professional manner

Proactive and reactive sales - to increase reservations for the restaurant

Ensure all group & individual bookings are taken, managed and maintained in line with company guidelines

Liaising with Venue management, fully briefing them to ensure all event & booking information is handed over

Performing venue show arounds and tours to clients

Successful candidate must have the following experience and credentials:

Targeted, self-motivated and passionate about sales and events

Sales Manager requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Sales Manager role is required, in the hospitality/leisure industry

Has the desire to exceed customer expectations and deliver exceptional service

Excellent sales and negotiation skills

Initiative, drive and enthusiasm

Excellent communication and 'people skills' along with good planning and organisational skills are a must!

The ability to work calmly under pressure

Good budget and report writing skills

Perfect written and spoken English

Salary £40/45,000 plus bonus
