To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives (including to propose new products/services and/or new market approaches to add value to the business). Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organisation at a business level. To establish up to date Market Knowledge for existing and potential growth areas of the business.

Qualifications / education/ experience required

• Business or marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
• Technical marketing skills
• Proven experience in customer and market research
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• Experience with relevant software applications

The UK Marketing Manager is a member of the Commercial Department and reports to the General Manager. The role will require the Marketing Manager will mainly be office based; however, travel to United Kingdom locations and training venues will be required as well as some travel to customers sites and Exhibitions in the UK and Europe.

The role requires the Marketing Manager to create and maintain effective relationships with other colleagues and managers across other departments, locations and functions of the Company and external customers and suppliers.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage and coordinate all UK marketing, and advertising activities
• Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
• Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
• Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
• Expand and develop marketing platforms
• Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
• Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
• Determine and manage the marketing budget
• Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
• Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
• Advise on pricing strategy
• Create marketing presentations
• Liaise with media and advertising
• Collaborate with the Commercial function
• Monitor industry best practices.
