We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forensic or Clinical Psychologist to join the established Psychology department within our client's Medium-Secure Hospital, situated just four miles north east of York in the village of Stockton on the Forrest.
This is a full-time role but we are also intersted in hearing from applicants seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity

Our client is a major provider of UK independent mental health care.
Set within a Grade Two listed country house dating back to 1800, this hospital has seven wards, 112 beds, and both male and female patients.
Their diverse population makes this Hospital a fulfilling and stimulating environment in which to work, and provides the opportunity to develop a broad range of clinical competencies as well as areas of clinical specialism.
You will work with complex patients who present with a range of mental disorders including mental illness, personality disorder, learning disability and autism spectrum disorder.

Person requirements:
Qualified Psychologist.
Full registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The ability to apply psychological knowledge to a secure psychiatric setting.
