The Role: Senior Asset Manager - Retail & Hospitality Units

Location: London

Salary: £60 - £65Kpa + Perks / Bens

I need to hear from Asset Managers with not only sound experience of dealing with Retail and F&B premises but also with genuine dynamism and high energy levels!

All about you:

* Associate or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

* Minimum 5 years PQE experience.

* Retail leasing and Landlord & Tenant experience essential

* Experience of acting for both Landlords and Tenants

* Experience of retail and F&B rent reviews and lease renewals would be an advantage

* Knowledge of Qube database would be an advantage

* Strong Excel Skills

All About the Role:

* Leasing of retail and F&B properties, developing leasing strategies with a creative approach.

* Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals and when required undertaking submission to Arbitrators and Independent Experts.

* Confident with L&T process and tactics

* Reporting to and influencing key stakeholders

* Creating income and additional capital value by active asset management, e.g. re-gearing of leases, lettings, renewals etc.

* Good understanding of profit and loss accounts and trading data.

* Advising internal business units on all property matters, which impact on their operation.

* Ensure up to date knowledge of Property Market in relation to values, legal, planning and construction issues. This requires a regular exchange of information in a broad network of contracts and information sources.

* Responding to business needs for advice on a wide range of Estate Management and Facilities Management issues and providing solutions.

* Working with 'Insurance Department' to assess claims and responsibilities concerning both property and Third-Party claims.

* Managing and resolving Landlord and Tenant issues including service charge disputes, requests to carry out work, change of use, third party issues etc.

* Maintain and update property management systems, liaising closely with legal, finance and insurance department.

* Undertaking routine property inspectors of the portfolio to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
