Approximately Up to £45,000 pa (negotiable, depending on experience)

The Role:

The successful Electronics Engineer will have experience of Power electronics and inverter systems.
Working closely with our client's customers you will be expected to design, develop and architect cutting edge solutions for high integrity power control systems. Showing a high level of production, design and implementation skills, you will take full responsibility for the lifecycle of business critical hardware products in order to deliver high quality solutions to tight deadlines. The role provides an opportunity for career development and would be suited to a candidate willing to take responsibility for product and people.
Depending upon the skills and experience of the candidate, applications are sought at Engineer, Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer levels.
Specific responsibilities for the Electronics Engineer role will depend upon your skill set and level of seniority. Typically, you will be responsible for a wide range of engineering activities covering all stages of the engineering lifecycle; from concept through to verification and validation of production systems. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop electronic solutions that successfully meet with the overall objectives of the project.

You will be expected to have a broad knowledge of electronics design and application; this may include:

Analogue and Digital circuit design and Analysis
Selection and assessment of components
PCB Layout design and supervision including the use of tools for schematic capture and circuit simulation
Power supply design
Design for EMC
Analysis and review of analogue & digital circuits

Requirements for the Electronics Engineer: degree in electrical / electronic engineering, excellent component and standards knowledge
