The Role

Our client are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join there busy project management team, based at our Head Office in Poole.

The role will encompass a variety of project management tasks including, but not limited to:
Management of multiple, concurrent, complex, customer-facing IT application and infrastructure projects.
You will be holding the overall responsibility for the performance of the project from the point of order through to completion.
You will require a proven and demonstrable track-record in management of all aspects of the project life-cycle of the implementation of line of business applications.
Other administrative tasks that may be required.

Essential Requirements

Project experience must be based on delivering projects to external SME customers from a wide range of market / industry sectors
Experience of managing a significant number of projects at any one time. Project mix would include both short and long-term projects
Strong understanding of the project life-cycle for business applications and / or infrastructure solutions
Strong background in resource planning and management is essential
Experience in managing project budgets
Experience of operating rigorous change control procedures
Prince 2 qualifications
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers
Good communicator with a professional telephone manner
Well-presented and a welcoming and friendly manner
Efficient and professional
Good time management
Multitasker with a can-do attitude
Flexible and tenacious

Advantageous skills:

Appreciation of core logistical business processes
Some Agile project experience
Experience of project costing
Experience of risk analysis/mitigation strategies

Qualifications and Certifications

Minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - grade C or above
